As children make a transition from childhood into becoming young adults, the SOYO organization helps teens reinforce the values and teachings of the Orthodox Church.

Teen SOYO (Society of Orthodox Youth Organization) is a group specifically for teenagers who currently are in grades 7th-12th. Being around individuals who share similar beliefs help teens strengthen their faith and stay connected with the church as they advance into college/adulthood.

This organization has various events throughout the year that teens are encouraged to participate in. The most typical activities that occur during the year are church retreats, service projects, fundraisers and social gatherings. The SOYO tries to keep all teens engaged with the church by having at least one event every month.

In addition to helping teens connect and feel closer to their own church, the SOYO allows teens to meet and establish life lasting relationships with other Orthodox Christians all over the country.
